Garden Furniture

A garden can be used on a fine day as an extension of the house and living room. There are many different examples available of garden furniture and it does depend on personal preference, space and functionality. Space will be a main criteria when choosing a set of garden furniture, like it is when choosing furniture for the house.

If you spend a great deal of time outside, whether it is for entertaining or for relaxing, then you need to choose the furniture that best suits your needs. A large garden centre will also sell garden furniture that can add to the look and feel of your garden.

The main garden furniture is a table and chairs, normally used for eating outside and perhaps enjoying a barbeque with family and friends. As an addition to a table you may also want to include a parasol to keep the table shaded during the summer. You may also need furniture to relax in such as sun loungers and easy chairs. These will allow you to sunbathe in comfort.

Garden furniture needs to be weather proof to help it last in the garden. Garden furniture is normally made out of hard wearing plastic, cast iron or hard wood which has been treated against the rain. If the furniture has cushions with it to add to the comfort, these are normally detachable.
